Biotech privacy

This Privacy Policy applies to the EarlyNarratives Biotech edition, operated by MoorContent (Netherlands, KVK 65703103).

Processing purposes and legal basis

• Provide the Services, accounts, and paid subscriptions (contract).
• Send transactional emails and briefings you request (contract or consent, depending on your settings).
• Keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and improve product experience (legitimate interest).
• Marketing updates only when you opt in (consent).

What we collect

• Contact and account data (email, tenant/workspace selection, and preferences).
• Billing data handled by our payment provider (subscription status and invoices; we do not store full card details).
• Usage analytics (pages viewed, feature events, and basic device/browser metadata).

What we do not do

• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not provide investment advice or personal recommendations.

Analytics and cookies

We use first-party analytics events to understand usage and improve Signals and Storylines. Depending on configuration, we may use cookies or cookieless identifiers (anonymous/session IDs) to measure visits, trials, and feature usage. You can block optional cookies in your browser; essential session cookies are required to stay signed in.

Processors (sub-processors)

We use trusted service providers to run EarlyNarratives, including:

• Payment processing (Stripe).
• Email delivery for account, alert, and briefing emails.
• Analytics and infrastructure providers for hosting and security.

Data retention

We retain account data while your subscription is active. After cancellation, we keep limited records as required for legal, tax, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution purposes. Analytics events are retained only as long as needed for reporting and product improvement.

International transfers

Some processors may be located outside the EU/EEA. When that happens, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent. You can update briefing preferences in-app and contact us to exercise your rights.
